Second game of the day for the under 9s against our friends Dulais Valley and proved to be as tough as always with a great show of rugby skills by both teams defensively and going forward, however great tackles from the home sides Kieran Casey, Anton Curry, Oliver Davies and Tomas Davies kept a hungry Dulais side back, but even after these fantastic efforts the game was as close as can be but with first half tries from Captain Matthew Whiles, Cian John and Joshua Castaldi kept Cwm in the lead lead 3-2 after the half time whistle.
Dulais as you would expect came out fighting in the second half but Cwmgwrach were up for the fight, not letting them spoil the day the individual efforts from all players was superb with try saving tackles from Callum Griffiths Cosmo Collins and Caleb cole but to name a few but it was an outstanding performance from an impressive Joshua Castaldi whose work rate throughout the game meant a further 2 tries giving him his hat trick for this game and Cwm an great win, final score 5-4.
