Cwmgwrach were dominant from the very beginning of the game and were rewarded with well deserved try under the posts for David Watkins, converted by Paul Davies. For the rest of the 1st half it was all pressure from Cwm resulting in veteran star John McPhail crossing for our second try at 35 minutes and a 14-0 scoreline at half time.

The second half started well with a penalty for Cwmgwrach, closely followed by a superb try from captain Robert Collins again converted by Paul Davies giving Cwmgwrach a 24-3 lead.

Cwmtwrch reacted well and piled in with two tries giving a final score of 24-20 to Cwmgwrach.
