Cwmgwrach started the game as they meant to go on.
A dominant display from the forwards was the main feature during the early exchanges of the first half.
An initial failure to convert the dominance into points was broken at the 20 minute mark by Sam Griffths who put Cwm's first points on the board with an excellent try. This was closely followed by a try from Paul Davies, converted by Luke Williams. Continuing dominance from the pack, especially the front row, Dean Davies, Luke Shortman and Darren Evans, led to Sam Griffiths crossing the line again with a further conversion from Luke Williams putting the score at half time 0-19.
Cwmgwrach kept their foot on the pedal as the second half started with a try from excellent prop and man of the match Darren Evans.
Play of the match came from the Cwmgwrach back line. Local legend Gareth Morris began with a 30 metre pass out wide to Paul Davies who runs in a 30 metre try bringing the score to 0-29.
Cwm managed to keep Furnace at bay and the final score was 29-0 to Cwm.
